John F. Kennedy was very wealthy and never went to a public school, etc.

Neither did his family member who run for President and neither did John Kerry who run for the presidency!

John Kerry hid his expensive yacht in a different place to avoid paying more taxes...

Why the war on the wealthy by Democrats when a Republican is wealthy?

If Democrats want to pay more taxes why don't they start to change things by donating more money to the IRS to show that they mean what they say!

So far we have proof that Romney is giving more money to charity then Obama and Biden combined even if you look at the percentages and not the amount!

There is no hypocracy. It is not about wealth, it is about policy and transparency, both of which Mr. Romney has failed us on!

Because they are the party of hypocrisy. Good for me, but not for thee is their mantra.

Since Romney hasn't been in office a single day, there's no way you can say his policies have failed

As far as transparency goes....

a) Obama's been the WORST....fast and furious, lobbyists meeting at coffee shops so they aren't on the White House guest list, films causing an Ambassador's murder, etc.

b) Romney released just as many tax returns as Obama requested of McCain

Wealth (or lack of it) has nothing to do with likeability and political savvy. Romney lacks both likeability and political savvy. You might get elected lacking the first but you can't get elected and run a country without political savvy.

It's more about personality than the wealth.

When John Kennedy was a young man and his country was at war, John Kennedy joined the fight in that war as did his brother Joe.

When Romney was a young man and his country was at war, a war HE supported, Romney conveniently walked the other way.

THAT's the hypocrisy here.

Ummm... You might want to read a little history. JFK got a lot of bad press and had problems with the electorate because of his wealth, his father and his religion. Nixon brought it up constantly. Nixon leaned heavily on the "I'm just a poor kid from Whittier" angle comparing his family's lack of wealth to the Kennedy family fortune.

So your initial premise is wrong.

And Burdell is right. After protesting in favor of the draft Romney used Daddy to pull stings so he could get a deferment and not be drafted himself. Some other guy got drafted so Romney could be in Paris knocking on doors telling people they should be Mormons. That's the hypocrisy in this election.
