You can thank your dear leader for delivering on his promise to bankrupt the coal industry

Just imagine how much higher they could be if we move FORWARD!!!

Brilliant!!! Lets sell our coal to Communists in China instead of burning it here and keeping our power cheap

What's next??? I bet there's already a bill somewhere out there written that will make electric rates "progressive" as in "spread the wealth" as in "From each according to ability to each according to need"

OMG!!!! 0bama's gonna pay my electric bill!!!

POS MUST GO NOW!!!

Household electricity bills skyrocket

The price of my electricity, although high, is pretty much determined by how much they owners of Seabrook Nuclear Station can charge.

That's right, its Obama's fault that any industries are now goign to natural gas which is cheaper, more abundant, and cleaner for the environment. We all know that conservatives would rather see our environment like China as long as we have lots of jobs, personally I would rather have a clean environment and fewer coal jobs than a dirty one with lots of coal jobs.

our electric bill here is still the same but our company that serves us here uses several different sources from coal to natural gas to even a little solar and wind power, mostly coal and gas though it's went from $.08 to almost $.09 per kwh in like the past 2 years time...also most companies charge more per kwh if you go over a certain kwh, in other words someone who used 300 kwh is charged less kwh than someone who used 1000 kwh because of fuel costs and other fees, so it's not always really raised now if you have a bill with the same kwh then it's possible it was raised but unless you're in like Montana or one of the other states that's 95% coal use I doubt that coal had much to do with it.

Liberals in some states (like Nevada) have passed utility laws that force the electric company to buy a certain amount of electricity from "renewable" sources even though the renewable sources cost the customers 3 times more.

Guess who profits from this arrangement?......Harry Reid and his Son who represents those renewable sources!!

Same but for 6 years. I haven't seen the rates go higher.

My gas bill is also the same. $25 a month for the last 6 years.
