I suggest you take the time to listen to or watch, or even read the text of the speech before making further comments which I think will embarass you. I'm wondering, though, since you have a special interest in this topic: Are you a Christian? Thanks.

Shockingly enough, you can be religious, but not expect everyone else to live by your religions rules.
Its not my religion.

Christianity - based on the life and teachings of Jesus as presented in canonical gospels and other New Testament writings.

Which says Homosexual is immoral.

"I have examined all the known superstitions of the world, and I do not find in our particular superstition of Christianity one redeeming feature. They are all alike, founded on fables and mythology. Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this coercion? To make one half the world fools and the other half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the earth." -Thomas Jefferson

Her religion also says is it immoral.

She says it is not her place to judge others or legislate based on her personal religious beliefs.

No, those churches interpret the Bible differently than you do. There are a ton of different churches and a ton of different interpretations of the Bible. Remember when Camping and his church stated that the Bible shows that the world would end last year? The thing is, its up to interpretation, and you don't have the authority to say which interpretation is incorrect.

  • The President of the United States declares "the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam." To a Christian, Muhammad is not a "prophet." For the President to make this statement is offensive to Christians, and gives testament of his true faith, Islam. We must acknowledge that we have a Muslim president.
  • The President of the United States promotes and gives tacit approval to the establishment in our laws, Sharia law, and in so doing, gutting the First Amendment.
  • For the last week, the President of the United States has lied about the attack on our Embassy, blaming it on a video, and not a preplanned terrorist attack, to occur on 9-11.
  • The President of the United States refuses to acknowledge an act of war against the United States.

How facts backfire - The Boston Globe
Quote:
Facts don’t necessarily have the power to change our minds. In fact, quite the opposite. In a series of studies in 2005 and 2006, researchers at the University of Michigan found that when misinformed people, particularly political partisans, were exposed to corrected facts in news stories, they rarely changed their minds. In fact, they often became even more strongly set in their beliefs. Facts, they found, were not curing misinformation. Like an underpowered antibiotic, facts could actually make misinformation even stronger.

How many of those proclaimed days did he attend the ceremony? I often prefer to judge a man by his deeds not his words. Words mean nothing to Obama although he did once proclaim that words have a meaning. If actions don't uphold words they mean nothing to me.
