If you opt for the organic couterparts of the products that you list, you can avoid the GMO's. Labeling on these products is very clear and obvious. The distinctly read NO GMO's. Nowadays, practically everything on the commercial food shelves can be purchased without GMO's if you buy from the alternative producers.
Obviously. I used to buy soy milk because I can't stomach plain dairy milk ever since I had a bad experience with soured milk. It's pretty much impossible to find a soy milk that doesn't advertise itself as organic, because most of it is marketed towards vegans. I've since switched to almond milk because I find it has a more agreeable texture.

Not entirely coincidentally, most of Europe has a much lower obesity rate than the U.S. does.
Except the country with the most cultural similarities to the U.S.: Britain, which has its own obesity epidemic rivaling that of the U.S.. New Zealand and Australia also face similar obesity epidemics. It's a problem in pretty much the entire English speaking world.
Lets not let the real world disrupt the anti-GMO "organic is much healthier" kiddies:
Stanford Scientists Cast Doubt on Advantages of Organic Meat and Produce
Stanford University scientists have weighed in on the “maybe not” side of the debate after an extensive examination of four decades of research comparing organic and conventional foods.
They concluded that fruits and vegetables labeled organic were, on average, no more nutritious than their conventional counterparts, which tend to be far less expensive. Nor were they any less likely to be contaminated by dangerous bacteria like E. coli.
The researchers also found no obvious health advantages to organic meats.
You left out the part where they said organics do have less chemicals (insecticides, etc.) in them.
Whether they have less is a moot point....
What I said still stands....
In the 18 years GM crops have been commercially available there has never been any accredited scientific proof they cause health issues in human beings....

Why do so many kids now have food allergies ?
Just a coincidence of the environment ?
Obesity, allergies..our food is becoming our enemy.

Increased awareness is a big factor. More and more people are getting a diagnosis for their allergies, especially those with milder allergies. Also the data are pretty terrible on food allergies, so much of the doomsaying about it is premature.
Obesity is an important problem, but it's more of a cultural problem then one of specifics. As I've previously mentioned, pretty much every English speaking developed country has an obesity problem, despite different foods.

So go ahead and keep living with your head in the sand. Not everyone wants to be a brain-dead consumer like yourself that has absolutely no clue what is in the food that they are putting inside themselves. You may call it conspiracy, but most of those with still functioning brains would call it being smart.
After all of the endless corruption stories coming out about companies, and endless product recalls for stuff made unsafe and/or poor quality... I just can't believe that anyone would still be dumb enough to trust large corporations with no oversight to genetically modify at will something as important as food!

It's not a moot point. Multiple chemical pesticides and such have banned after extensive use for their dangers.
Since the average human lives to over 70, it takes longer than 18 years to find long term effects, and there has been little independent study on the subject too for that matter. DDT was around longer than 18 years before being banned.
There truly is no rest for the wicked, and Monsanto is at war once again against health conscious consumers with the latest ‘Monsanto Protection Act‘, managing to sneak wording into the latest Senate legislation that would give them blanket immunity from any USDA action regarding the potential dangers of their genetically modified creations while under review. The USDA would be unable to act against any and all new GMO crops that were suspected to be wreaking havoc on either human health or the environment.
It must be nice to be able to write your own legislation and then pass it off to your bought and paid for politicians to pass it.
Why can't the common citizen write their own legislation and hand it to a politician?
Ahhh because we need money, um, I mean, we need "Freedom of Speech" to make it happen.
Why does that not make sense? Citizens are talking also via "Freedom of Speech" so why don't the politicians work for us?
Because it is not about Freedom of Speech, but buying politicians to do your bidding.
^^^A former Monsanto head is now the the head of the FDA. So not surprising.
This company should be burned to the ground.
If anyone hasn't watched Food Inc., I HIGHLY recommend it.
