Its funny how you use long term nation building in Afghanistan and abandoning Iraq as examples of Obama's "powerful sympathies for the Islamic world." Aren't those the exact opposite actions, after all we are leaving Iraq so that we are no longer engaging in long term nation building.
So what is the opposite of anti-Colonalist; wouldn't that be pro-Colonalist? Wouldn't that be someone who would be in favor of imperialism. The United States definitely has engaged in imperialism, just ask the people of the Philippines.
I would think that most Americans would be opposed to Colonialism and Imperialism.

LOL, all you hear from the left is it's Bush's fault and for 4 years. Harry Reid wants to attack religion and omg, don't dare bring up something like Rev Wright and Obama which is hushed up by the media. Each day I am more convinced that the government purposely dummied down the kids because they will grow up and vote.

Apart from the right-wing psychosis that Obama has brought radical ideas to the nation, Obama has proven over the last four years that he supports the type of government that we have already had for a long time.
What this campaign has proven is that the real radicals are the Republicans that want to bring us back to a time when there was no unemployment insurance; no Medicare; no Social Security; and no Medicaid. Too bad if you are old and not rich, you can't afford a nursing home.
The voters have reacted. Instead of this being a rejection of Obama, as the GOP assumed, voters have finally worked up the nerve to stand squarely for things that the GOP would eliminate.
