If Obama is an amateur, then how amateurish are the Republicans, given that Obama won a second term in office?

There are three equal branches of the federal government you know - one that is controlled by the Democrats, one that is split, and one that is effectively split but which at times can be considered a conservative stronghold(depending on how much sleep Anthony Kennedy got the night before and despite that branch being nominally non-partisan).

In this light, I wouldn't call any party amateurish, just our incompetent president.

"Well, she's a MUCH better president than Dick Cheney ever was"

DC was elected, VJ was annointed.

DC was plainly visible, VJ hides in the shadows.

VJ was MO's employer. DC nebver hired GWB.

Big difference!

Obama is a big danging fob, a mindless ideolog judas goat. He takes orders, doesn't give them.

Any solo act he attempts is a disaster. The emasculated press sanitize Obama's galactic failures and pretend he actually won the nobel peace prize and transparency award. Even Nancy Pelosi said to not believe what he said on the campaign trail in her response to the promise that CSpan would broadcast the Obamacare discussions.

MO is irrelevant.

The president uses the automatic signer or whatever that stupid contraption is called.

If a machine can sign bills - then why not Michelle?

Please cite the proof that he uses an autopen to sign legislation. Or is this your attempt at "humor" since you're such an utter failure at what you try to pass off as "debate"?

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/28/us...sign.html?_r=0 - Patriot Act extension.

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics...-with-autopen/ - Fiscal Cliff bill.

There was a third instance where the autopen was used - but I forgot when and what bill was involved.

Furthermore - the constitution does not say that the duty of signing bills cannot be delegated.

Quote:
Article 1, Section 7 of The Constitution says that if a president approves a bill "he shall sign it." No provision is made for having a substitute signature affixed by a mechanical device - or a designated aide.
Obama uses autopen, again, to sign bill into law - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

Thus, Michelle Obama could arguably sign legislation.

Congratulations on actually being correct about something. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
Now show me where a first lady has ever signed legislation into law, or has been acknowledged to have executive powers.

And by that same argument, so could the family dog.
So tell me again what executive powers the First Lady has?
