I'm not a conservative myself, I have no dog in the fight. But at one time the Tea Party was an intellectually honest and serious underground movement.

Now it's a joke.
In case you haven't noticed Romney/Ryan actually mentioned "Our rights come from God, not Government"...

That was a weak concession to The Tea Party...

Sure the new Congressors have been there awhile getting bribed, Im paying attention, Im not the only one....

The Democrat platform includes a whiny right in your face gun control promise, I believe their true intentions much worse....

My point is we sure as hell aint voting for 0bama!!!!

I see their rantings on this forum all the time, not a happy bunch IMO..
Maybe you can refresh our memories with a brief recap of what they are all about. As all i see is a never ending litany of hate toward
Obama
Democrats
The poor
Obama care
Environment and conserving natural resources
MSM
Gays/Lesbians
Taxes
Religions other than Christianity
Unions and well paid civil servants
The American auto industry
All manner of social programs and the people who use them.
feminists
minorities and the Concept of equal rights for all
Public education
Gvmnt pensions
Gvmnt social programs.
47% of Americans
Abortion and birth control and affordable child care.
Etc,Etc,Etc.

I could go on but tell me why i'd vote for a party thats basically anti everything?

I am an Ind and not a tea party member. That said I wasn't aware that the Tea Party had a spokes person on this forum.
Just as tempesT doesn't speak for the entire DNC there is no one here that actually represents the Tea Party.
I agree with many of the Tea Party's positions.
Every dime our government spends should be accounted for.
Every bit of waste should be eliminated.
Every person caught wasting should be held accountable.
The arrogance in DC is astounding and needs to be put in check.
Yhe most telling and sad thing is how many people will blow off individual examples of waste with the excuse "It's a drop in the bucket." Well all those drops have added up to a bucket the size of a swimming pool and it is over flowing.
