How were the Pakistanis acting 5 years ago? I think not like they are now, but then that doesn't count when you are trying to deflect from the topic of the thread.

That post was nothing more than pure deflection from the topic of the thread.

Strange.....Obama supported Democratic change in Egypt, Libya, and some lip-service to that in Syria (although Hillary called Assad a "reformer"...LOL).

But when thousands upon thousands of Iranian youths took to the streets calling for democracy in Iran, Obama didn't support them???

Iranians chose the gov't they have now. They voted them into place and now they have to live with the ramifications of their choice. Egypy & Libya overthrew dictators and only time will tell if they go forward or backwards. Syria is also a dictatorship. Its being backed by Iran. But now France is starting to supply the rebels. So let France have the fun, since the UN will not interfere since it is an internal situation according th them.

How many UN watchers were on hand when the Iranian vote was counted? How many watched the counting of the votes? Is there a chance that the Premier of Iran is really in charge with religious men actually in control? Just wondering about those things.

It is odd that Obama and his administration have this love affair with the Moslem Brotherhood.

IMO it was fixed. They traded one type of dictatorship for another. They were probably expecting some type of communism/socialism and living high like the UAE or Saudia Arabia. Instead they ended up with a slightly different version of Iraq (before the war version). Egypt and Lybia are trending to following in the same direction.

Also in IMO if we were Russia and the hostages were Russian in 1979, there is no doubt in my mind that we would've been in there freeing our people and accepting the concept of collateral damage in order to save face. We need to stop dealing with Arab countries like European countries its just not the same concept.
