Obama gave the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood government $450 million just two weeks after protesters stormed the US embassy and torched the American flag replacing it with a black Al Qaeda flag.

The New York Times reported:[indent]The Obama administration notified Congress on Friday that it would provide Egypt’s new government an emergency cash infusion of $450 million, but the aid immediately encountered resistance from a prominent lawmaker wary of foreign aid and of Egypt’s new course under the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood.

It's been blocked. No money is going to Egypt. Trying to buy friendship quicker ?

Congress finally got some "guts" over receiving memos about what the President does without their approval.

U.S. House Blocks Egypt From Receiving $450 Million In Aid
The Obama administration's plan to transfer $450 million in cash to Egypt hit a roadblock Friday as a top House committee chairwoman blocked the move, saying it warrants further review.

Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, said the State Department had notified Congress of plans to move the money to the new government of President Mohammed Morsi as Cairo struggles economically. The money is part of the nearly $1 billion in debt relief that President Barack Obama had promised Egypt earlier this year.
..
Appropriations subcommittee on foreign operations said in a statement. "I am not convinced of the urgent need for this assistance and I cannot support it at this time. ... I have placed a hold on these funds."

You have to act like a Mafia boss- The Islamic Mafia has taken over Egypt...You do not pay tribute to those who insult you- For the authorities in Egypt too allow the killings of Americans on their turf...and having not raised a hand to protect them...makes it absurd to grant the Muslim Brotherhood assistance of any kind- The mature manly deal should be- I protect YOU- and I expect that you protect ME.. It's about time that men behaved like men and held dignity, duty , pride and honor on high...You don't kiss the ass of jerks who attempt to dis-empower you and humiliate you. Obama should have at least given them a brow beating first- humiliated them- and then maybe given them the money...so far he has allowed them the upper hand...why?

Cos the little man is not street wise.

Why aren't liberals crying about using this money at home to help people who are hurting?

Obama is salivating over using an executive order, but he has to wait until the election is settled. Either that or if there's a big entertainment event, perhaps he can sneak it in real quick.

They don't care. We learned over the last couple weeks that there is nothing O can do that they'll get upset about. O lied about Libya where we lost lives, so clearly they will never care about giving money to Muslim brotherhood or anything else Obama does

Wow, the Egyptian president goes to the floor of the UN and orders us to arrest the maker of the movie, and we snap right to it, and then bribe their good behavior with a few hundred million more dollars.

And if it weren't for Congress that money would be in their bank account today.

Reagan gave Lebanon over 200 million in aid AFTER 17 Americans were killed in our embassy there.

Any takers?
