So that whole free speech thing only applies to Christians in Texas?
Not when you ask Christians on a message board, Ringo. In forums such as this, people say "Oh I wouldn't mind a Muslim or Satanist making a banner and holding it up to represent the school my Christian child goes to." In real life, however? Good luck
This is not about free speech. It's about a group of individuals expressing their individual beliefs in such a way that implies they speak for an entire school when in actuality they don't. It's about misrepresentation, if you read the quote in the original article. As an atheist, I'd be just as opposed to a banner promoting atheism, because I wouldn't want to make that implication regarding those who didn't share my beliefs, no matter how small the percentage.
