"I voted for Barry Goldwater. Voted for Reagan four times(twice for gov, twice for potus. Hell,I voted for Bob Taft back in the day. But this Mitt Romney is too far to the right!"
Fake lifelong Republican now voting Democrat for 1st time ever.
Why is this any less believeable than these supposed hordes of doctors who voted for Obama who will now vote for Romney? There are several threads about that, with numerous posters citing their personal physicians as examples.

It's simply the same, over and over. Each "side" likes to claim support from whatever group they can think of.
I even read a thread the other day where conservatives were citing the ACLU to demonstrate that a majority of voters were turning away from Obama and toward Romney. Yeah, you read that right, I used conservatives and ACLU in the same sentence. I was actually surprised that the forum didn't blow up into a huge fireball upon the creating of that thread. What's next, conservatives claiming the EPA supports Drill-Baby-Drill? Or perhaps Democrats quoting the American Family Association in order to show an increased trend toward gay marriage?
The supposed hate is so strong that it is laughable. What is even more laughable is that I don't see any of it in real life. It seems to be confined to the online world where we can bash each other anonymously (and clearly, several people get a kick out of it) and a number of douchebags in D.C. who have failed to understand what their job is.
DK should have found an eighty-five year old repub for more believability.
Shows you how their writers are from another era as they think 70 yrs old is 'old' and at that age every old person has accumulated so much knowledge, everthing any 'old' person says is dripping with insight and intelligence.
The GOP is imploding. They stink. They look at each other and they see that among them are the most racially-ignorant, racially-insenstive, klan-supporting people in this country. At their rallies, they see no diversity, and listen to stupid, narrow-minded ideas that do not work. They each look in the mirror and see that they are wasting their lives supporting a shameful ideology which put Bush in office twice and wants to undo the 20th century. They don't know how to run an economy. Their presidential candidate stinks despite all the money that has been thrown his way. Koch brothers look like complete morons, stupid rich guys supporting inferior causes.
Romney looks more and more like the GOP's biggest mistake. Ryan was a lousy VP pick and is nothing more than a confident-talking, skewed-numbers dropping James Stockdale. The last 4 years, we have gotten nothing from Republicans but obstructionist tactics in Congress, and a continuous stream of a doomsday narrative. They have contributed no useful ideas to help this country recover from their actions over 8 horrific years of Bush. They are tea-party downgraded. They are the party which gave us Bush.
President Obama is wiping the floor with them. Poised, effective, dignified, cool, supremely intelligent, passionate, and versatile. He is a man of great depth and character. His vision for this country fits the times and is superior. He has successfully resuscitated this country from the free fall that Republicans put us in.
Compared to this President, Pubs are nothing more than toe-jam. No wonder they're imploding and desperate.
There are fools everywhere. An awful lot of them are on the Daily kos, which is filled with more hate than any website I've ever seen. I hope the idiot stays there. We don't need or want him in the R party.
Are you that ignorant that you cant tell the difference between intolerance and disliking opinions? I dislike Hitler's "opinion" that the Jews should be wiped out, by your definition that is intolerant since having a disagreement with someone is intolerant in your mind. Unlike Teabaggers, I don't judge people by race, skin color or sexual orientation.[/quote]
Yet you have no problem using a derogatory gay slur to describe people you disagree with? lols
Please tell me how the "racist" Tea Party voted in more blacks and Latinos into office in 2010 than Democrats?
Some racists those Tea Party folk are. Voting in all those minorites. lols.
The old, tired, boring "everyone's a racist" besides a Democrat doesn't work anymore.
You gotta be pretty stoopid to believe it..
LOL you really think there are more black and Latin Republicans in Congress or elected office than Democrats? Probably stop getting your "news" from the Blaze. I didn't use a gay slur anywhere, you shouldn't just make things up when you don't have an argument. I don't recall any Democrats accusing any Republicans of being a secret Muslim or secretly born in another country. I don't recall any Democrats advocating stopping Latinos in the streets to ask them for papers like Jan Brewer and Joe Arpaio.
