California Gas Stations Shut as Oil Refiners Ration Supplies - Bloomberg

Shortage of gas, to the point that gas stations need to close.

Jim Li said yesterday that he may stop selling gasoline at his independent station, Best Auto Care, in San Francisco. He’s charging $4.59 a gallon for the fuel, “and I’m still losing money,” he said.

but dont worry, Obama went after the speculators...

Allowing a new refinery to open, by fast tracking it and relaxing some of the onerous regulations, might help. so too would be states stopping the process of everyone trying to play politics by demanding their state get their own special fuel blend.

It is a bit of a stretch to blame a temporary shortage on the President, but his enemies are quite willing to do stretch as far as necessary.

Yeah whatever lol
I'm sure his money printing, regs and ethanol nonsense have nothing to do with it.
Some seem quite willing to stretch reality as far as neccesary to defend him.

Right before the BP Oil spill, in my town, there were two BP gas stations, literally right across the street from one another.

(For what it's worth, right after the BP spill those two gas stations were dead for awhile).

Fast forward,...... I drove by there yesterday and one is now called Kangaroo and the other one is called Marathon.

It was a buck-forty nine here in the DC area. I kept the receipt figuring I'd never see it that low ever again.

I suppose now a refinery fire is also Obama's fault?

You wing nuts have really gone off the deep end.

Wing nuts think that the high gas prices we have experienced for the past several years are the result of a recent refinery fire.

Yes, right after Bush and crew walked the economy off a cliff.

And you are not seriously blaming refinery outages (which are run by oil companies) on the President, are you?
