Homosexuals are ok, and tolerance for them will continue to be taught so long as humanity continues to progress intellectually and socially. You are a dying breed in the 1st World.

The Boy Scouts are a private organization and can do what they want-- even though I find this type of behavior reprehensible, it is their right to do so.

However, any type of governmental support-- whether direct financial, or in-kind support like providing free meeting places in public schools, needs to be pulled in response to such behavior. This is overt discrimination and this organization has no place being supported by tax dollars.
...why's it so hard to protecting minors from what was thought to be deviate behavior... If you are a parent do you steer your kid straight or not. Do we let kids decide when it's OK to drink or study or drive. I always wanted to drive, but guess what? I had to wait or break the law. Why not just break the law., why not change the law... I'm totally OFFENED. Same for booze and sex........only Now who cares if you have three mommies and a sleep in aunt.........Some things don't work sometimes ..like shipping the housing boom to China

Also, the notion that a large percentage of scouts are homosexuals is ludicrous and just because some in society are social mutants and can't control their sexual proclivities or cave in to some other socially unacceptable behavior does NOT mean that the BSA or any other private (or even US Government) organization should be forced to accept them and their ways.
The military tosses people out all the time because they are "fat". Many fat people are born that way and can't help themselves others indulge....but being over-weight is NOT a quality the military needs so out they go…
So it is with the Boy Scouts. Scouting is about the out of doors, not just another location for the homosexual micro-minority to screech their contrived and twisted sexual-political agenda.
The Boy Scouts would do well to divest themselves from any public funding. The Short term will be painful but in the long run they’ll be very much better off.
Any organization that wishes to promote the best in people will by its very nature deny entry to those who do not want to meet or cannot meet the standard. Discounting the very notion of a standard will only allow the quality of individual in the organization to collapse. No one benefits when a group will admit absolutely every type of individual behavior simply because those individuals want "in". Mandated social-behavioral inclusion is a pipe-dream at best and dictatorial at worst. We have the right to free association. I choose not to associate with communists or fascists because I find their views unacceptably vengeful violent and disgusting, for example…Organizations also have that same right. The BSA has that right. It's foolish for anyone to fall prey to the notion that homosexuality is a "no-harm, no-foul" behavior or life-style simply because the homosexual political community says it is.....well of course they say that...eh? It's in their interest to say that but does this make it so? Nope it doesn't....

To all the parents….are you REALLY O.K. with your kids bunking with a kid who has been led to believe he’s/she’s “gay” and with all those difficult to control hormones flowing they act on that “feeling”..??? If you’re really O.K. with YOUR kid being a homosexual or on the receiving end of homosexual attention then that decision rests on you alone we are NOT interested in having you grandstand your sex-politics with OUR organization. Perhaps you could found the GSA, “gay scouts” or the LGBTQ x.y.z. scouts…..but for the rest of us the regular ol’ non-sexualized, non-politicized scouts are just fine and should be left alone.

The bottom line however…
As long as public funds or any form of public assistance go to the BSA they will receive increasingly repugnant fascist-style pressure to accept every manner of abhorrent behavior that is DIRECTLY counter to all that scouting stands for.
In order for the BSA to remain free they’re going to have to cut loose all public assistance….
Outstanding post....thank you!!
