There is no "under god thingie" in how it was written (and by a socialist, at that).

I don't know about you, but I'd believe she gets direct deposit in her checks and uses a debit or credit card.
My bank doesn't force me to use your god image.

Got some proof of a god thingie?

Good for that lawmaker, it's pathetic how most politicians pander to braindead Christians. If you're really stupid enough to think we really are one nation under a magical invisible man, you need to hit yourself on the head with a tack hammer cause you're mentally slow

You are replying to someone who you JUST quoted as saying they are an Atheist.

But I'm at least an honest Atheist who says you don't actually have any hard proof there isn't a God either. No one ACTUALLY knows that for certain. And, not....I'm not an Agnostic either. It's simply a fact. It can't be PROVEN either way.

Could be that she is of a Christian religion that holds these things as idolatry. When DH was in school, one of his classmates had to leave the room when the Pledge was said.

When the NWO takes over the pledge will be replaced. So just put up with it for a while longer.

I fail to see the issue here. It's her right to not say the pledge. Forcing people to say it brings us closer to dictatorship than anything Obama has done.

Who's advocating FORCING her to say it?

The question is why someone who refuses pledge their allegiance to our national flag have a place in a governmental legislature?

To encourage more people to not say the pledge ? To show that if government elected officials don't say it then mere citizens don't need to say it either.

Remember, a government is a reflection of it's people.
