[TempesT68;26402200]Being a border patrol agent is on the same lies as serving in the military or a police officer, it's a dangerous line of work and unfortunately casualties happen.

We simply just can't pull all the agents
So is being a fireman, but do you send him into a fire with a squirt gun???

Who is talking about pulling agents??

What does this mean?

, or stop having police officers over these tragedies.

Border patrol agents, like other law enforcement entities, die in the line of duty.

Its a very simple truth. The article talks about the drug war and border patrol agents.

End the drug war, end the violence on the boder, period.
If drugs are legalized....the cartels will find something else to make fortunes...the only Q is what next?

Again, end the drug war, end the violence.
Give border patrol the manpower, the equipment, the power to enforce the law, stop coddling Mexico, and maybe the border war on drugs could end. Then what do you do about the tunnels and the boats?

Really? Look at the Mafia after prohibition was repealed, fell apart. Yes, took it a few decades, but the height of their power was during alcohol prohibition, with a slow slide into obscurity and destruction after its repeal.

Ending the drug war, will end the violence. What are they going to replace it with?

What you're saying is "well we shouldn't repeal a stupid law, because it'll simply be replaced by another stupid thing"

Doesn't make since. If its stupid, repeal it. The drug war, is stupid, as is all prohibition of non lethal things from adults.

OH PLEASE!!!!!!

What a joke, lets just increase the military, lets just increase enforcement. Now you sound like a neocon.

Every example of prohibiting a substance from adults who want it has proven futile, and it leads to black markets where violence takes place.

Everytime that prohibition has been repealed, violence decreased, revenues went up, and everyone was a lot better off for it.

Oh, OK. So we should just tear down the wall and fences, remove border patrol, and let it flow. Violence will stop, drug cartels will earn more and the supply will be endless. Sounds like a plan.

No, we should leave border patrol agents in place to stop people trying to come here illegally.

But what they are trying to do now isn't stopping people from coming here illegally, they are trying to prevent drug crossings. The mexicans don't give a **** about staying in this country, just get the drugs across the border, then to go back.

Different mission entirely. End the drug war, no more cartels, and then they can go back to focusing on just those people trying to enter illegally and stay.

I cannot imagine that the FBI would tell the families that it was if they aren't 99.9% sure.
And, if that is the case, it would appear that the agents are indeed armed. Just saying.
And, you've linked to two of the most slanted sources ever. I'm not taking either of these as gospel.
