My middle name is a variation of a Hebrew name which means "Lily" in does this mean I am Jewish? It simply means my Mother made my middle Suzanne and she had me baptized Roman Catholic.

This logic is a real stretch in my opinion, I have a friend who named her daughter after her favorite character in her favorite book.

That's not faith. That's probability and statistics. A completely different thing.

Nah, most people receive their names from their parents at birth. Most parents deliberate for some time which name they should give their child.

According to every legal document we've seen, Obama was always named BHO - he didn't have to change his name upon any alleged conversion to Islam. You see, if you are born with a certain cultural background, it is not uncommon for parents to select names that incorporate that cultural background.

While it is true that people who convert to Islam often change their name to a traditional Muslim name, children who are born with a cultural background steeped in Islamic tradition have no reason to do so - they just have the name they have, even if they never believe in the teachings of Mohammed or grow up in a non-Islamic country.

Thus, a Muslim name is not exactly a sign of conversion.

Additionally, many people change or abbreviate their name in order to fit into whatever society they happen to live in. Thus, a German "Hans" can quickly becomes a "John" in the US, "Jorge" becomes "George," and a Natalie Hershlag simply becomes Natalie Portman. One of my childhood friend's parents were not married - depending on his stage in life, he would use his father's last name or his mother's. Neither was indicative of anything other than a personal struggle or the hope to blend into his environment a bit better (his father's last name came with quite a bit of baggage...).

You're both wrong. He was named Barack H. Obama at birth, then officially changed to Barry Sotero when his step father took him in.

So I'll just comment this way....when supposedly grown indivisuals are so stupid as to believe everything Rush tells them without availing themselves to the WWW, I guess anything's possible.

It's in some people's "comfort zone" to lable the President as a Muslim, Socialist, Communist, Ni66er, Witch Doctor, monkey, etc.
Some people will never evolve from their ignorance.
Rush said that? I don't suppose you have an audio of said discussion. I need the entertainment.

Clue: Rush never said that, and if you believe everything you see on the WWW, well................it might be a good idea for you to refrain from calling someone else stupid and dumb azz.

My first and middle name are based in Jewish religion. I'm not, nor have I ever been a jew.

Your point?
