KELLY: Libya security cut while Vienna embassy gained Chevy Volts - Washington Times

While the Libyan Embassy was being refused their pleas for more security, the Embassy in Vienna received Chevy Volts and a $108,000 electric vehicle charging station.

While the embassy in Vienna was going green, the consulate in Benghazi was getting bombed, and little was done to stop it.

Before the terrorist attack that took the lives of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, there were more than 230 security incidents in Libya between June 2011 and July 2012.
Of those attacks, 48 took place in Benghazi, two at the U.S. diplomatic compound and scene of the September 11, 2012, terrorist attack.

Mrs. Charlene Lamb, testifying on the Obama Administration's behalf, said during Congressional Hearings yesterday that budget cuts to the State Department didn't affect the security situation in Libya.....and the above news proves that to be true.

Did you mention the security cuts were brought to us by the Republicans who refused to vote for the funding asked for by the State Department last summer?

We're going to decrease our dependency on foreign oil....even it means getting our Ambassadors killed.

Way to go Barrack.

So you've proven TWO points.....

1) You didn't bother watching the Congressional Hearings yesterday when Mr.s Charlene Lamb, testifying for the Obama Administration said that the budget cuts didn't affect the security situation in Libya.

2) You can't connect dots: If the State Dept could afford to buy Chevy Volts and a charging station for the Vienna Embassy, they surely had the cash for something as important as security in Libya.

I think I would rather fight the Libyans than drive a Volt.

Two questions
1) were these cuts part of the budget bill passed by the house and never passes or brought up by the senate democrats? The Ryan budget passed the house is this the bill that made the cuts? the senate did not pass the Ryan budget so the effects would not have happened
2) if it was not part of the house budget that passes then it would have to have been a stand alone bill. If it was a stand alone bill and passes the house then in order to go into effect it would have had to pass the senate. Did the senate dems approve of the cut and pass the bill? If they did pass the bill then the president would have have signed it to make the cuts go into effect. So if the stand alone bill passed the house senate and the president signed it then it was much more than the GOP that made the cuts

3) yesterday in the hearing there was testimony that finances were not a problem
So your post is nothing but a partisan bs

The agenda here is glaringly obvious....to keep this story alive until election day by continuously posting about the same things over and over in newly created threads. It seems to be a do ANYTHING strategy to keep repeating variations of the same story. I would guess this is happening on other message boards as well. It's all the Repulicans have and they desperately want to keep it "alive and well" by repeating it over and over. Many of these highly partisan Republicans will disappear within a few months, if not sooner, after the election.

You totally ignore the seriousness of this and you don't consider yourself partisan? LMAO!
