I am left of liberal and have not discussed President Bush's involvement at all and I am not about to start now. I would like to know why you are so certain this administration is lying. Do you have some source of information not available to us? If so, what is it?

BTW I am not a kid. I was also in the Navy and served in the Riverine Forces on the Mekong River and around the Hon Roi islands during 1966-7. I do not remember any villagers being grateful for our protection. I do distinctly remember many of them trying very successfully to kill us.

Brother.....

From the onset, administration officials have been pushing this idea that it was all due to a video, even though they knew within hours that there was no protest outside the Libyan Consulate and that it was due to a terrorist attack.

Those are the lies.

We are Brothers.....I was a Navy Corpsman with the Marines in Quang Tri Province up North along the DMZ.

I served with a CAP Marine unit. Combined Action Program where we lived in the hamlets and villages with the people. Let me quote something from the CAP Marine website:

Quote:
"Vietnamese people in some of the [CAP] hamlets still, twenty five plus years after-the-fact, hold annual memorial services for the young men who died to keep them and their children free." - LtCol. William R. Corson

At the same time our Benghazi Consulate was being bombed, the Embassy in Vienna was getting brand new Chevy Volts and a $106,000 charging station.
Wow. I didn't hear that. Unbelievable. So the lives of our ambassadors and embassy personnel are being put on hold to push Obama's GM bailout and green agenda. Sickening.

Well, we are at war with them.

[are we supposed to be surprised?]

Yes, we are.

Sometimes one wonders if Obama realizes that though.

He claims they are all but defeated.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised. There are probably taliban and al queda cells roaming everywhere in the ME. This war on (terrorism) can go on for years and years.
Maybe because the US has tageted terrorist training camps, they've gone underground and are now doing these rapid hit and run tactics. At least, that's what I appears like to me. It's like they took a few pages out of our playbook, if you will.

About the only way to keep random attacks like these from killing our people is either remove our people, or provide them transportation in APC's.
