Charles Payne is a credible source . Your bias is showing. Charles Payne talked about his experiences and I believe him.
Black people have to get rid of their resentment toward blacks who want to better themselves. It is a poison that runs through their minds and it is bad baggage to have.
I hope the next generations don't believe our president who wants to divide us by class not race. This is a poison too. Obama has sat in a church that divides, resents and puts hate in the hearts of blacks . This is a poison.
And so has Mitt Romney. If you don't believe it then I would suggest that you read up on the history of what Mormons REALLY think about Black people.
I hear black people use this term about someone being black but yet they are white on the inside and it is a negative used by blacks. I think it is racist to say someone is acting white.
I don't know what it fully means. Acting white is what?
It's just idiots that say this. I have a white friend that acts black, married black etc....he is still my friend regardless.
This is an important question I feel needs to be asked on this thread: Where did the term "acting White" come from? I know the answer, but I want other people to think about this.
West Africans have a culture, African Americans not so much. That's why you notice a difference in behavior and attitude.
Actually, African-Americans had their cultures from West Africa stripped and taken from them. They came to this nation in chains, broken, and enslaved. They literally had to start from scratch. African-Americans do have a culture. We came up with jazz, blues, and R&B. We have great writers like Richard Wright, Ralph Ellison, Zora Neale Hurston, Octavia Butler, and great intellectuals like Cornel West and W.E.B. DuBois. The bad things that exist in African-American culture come as a product of the bad that has happened.
Uh; Black hood rats ain't Uncle Toms. Tho many Black people who have that BS attitude of "keeping it real" WILL slam a black person by calling him a UT; especially a dude for acting "white" if that dude talks and acts proper, like a typical white dude.
I might actually consider hood rats Uncle Toms if looked at from a different perspective. I was robbed coming from work one night, by African-American males who were basically "hood rats". I would consider them Uncle Toms. This is why. I was working for my money. I'm trying to work towards something better, and I was in school. And then these fools attack me and take my money. This is the way I saw it. They were trying to steal from and drag down a fellow Black man who was working hard for something better. I would call that an Uncle Tom.
The "typical white dude comment", well this is my rebuttal. Living in the South, I come in contact with alot of White people who don't talk or act proper, who basically have the "redneck culture". In fact, "hood rat" culture has its roots in "redneck" culture.

Yup and its sorry results are reflected in our prisons, nightly news, schools etc.
...And due to your overall ignorance of the subject, you will continue to believe things such as "there are more blacks on welfare than whites" and "blacks are the cause of all of the crime in this country" and blacks have a "learning curve" so that is the reason that they are doing poorly in the school system.
It works fine especially in places where individual initiative is rewarded. Why isn't African American culture working in the worlds wealthiest country?
Like I said before, African American culture is American culture! American Blacks are the creators of Jazz, hip hop, R&B, rap, various clothing designs, Black American Art, and phrases known nowhere in the world but here. Instead of constantly trying to degrade blacks in this country you really need to try and learn the history first
