The investigation is to gather PROOF. If there is PROOF that would be followed by a TRIAL. Maybe you missed the post with the link where Hillary is now saying otherwise?? She's going to have to explain her statements and it looks to me that Joe and Obama are in deep water and she's throwing them an anchor. If the investigation goes deep she just may give the hearing the PROOF they are looking for.

I was in Iraq. And Panama before that. And all of it in S-3 (usually S-3 Air) planning combat operations and training and we run with the S-2 Section -- Intelligence. And then Honduras before that. Before that, I ran around playing with nuclear weapons for 3 1/2 years in Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Czechoslovakia and Hungaria, and before that, I was at TRADOC Headquarters editing, reviewing and writing doctrine for Airland Battle 2000, except when I was the NTC or in Egypt training the Egyptian Army. Before that I played "tag" in the 1 Km Zone with the East Germans and Soviets.
I also worked occasionally for four-week periods at the US Consulate in Berlin, and I spent 3 months at the military attache's office at US Embassy Mission Bucharesti (Romania) and then of course I used to accompany generals to the MWD to attend events at the Turkish Embassy or the embassy of some other NATO ally (no, I didn't get to rub elbows with the Beautiful Peopleâ„¢, but I did get to hang in the kitchen with the staff, who were cool and there was lots of really, really good food to eat -- and wine to drink).
One of my three undergraduate degrees is in Law Enforcement, not the ridiculous Criminal Justice (which is all about being an outstanding desk jockey as a parole or probation office or being a gloried security guard at a correctional factually). I spent 2 years on the road before being promoted to detective sergeant, and then I was a private investigator and later awarded Investigator of the Year and was on TV numerous times for doing things like busting a worker's compensation fraud scheme (where a chiropractor was billing the same people out of three offices in three different counties).
On top of all that, I have a PhD in International Relations with certificates in Homeland Security and International Security.
So excuse the hell out of me if I render a professional opinion based on 30 years of knowledge, education, training and practical experience in the real world in matters of security, investigations, combat operations, diplomatic missions and interpreting and employing intelligence data.

She doesn't know what she's talking about in re this being a "trial." I have her on ignore because she continuously posted snarky comments to me. I got tired of it. I could only see her post from your quote.
Thank you for not piling on. I appreciate that. It seems to me that most of the country does not see this issue as a cover up or a major foreign policy fail for Obama so far. And it's the citizens who are voting and will be voting. And I would expect that whether or not Obama is re-elected the investigation would continue.
