I'd love to know if you've ever been in Watts.

It's actually a nice idea. A focal point for the community. I'd put it in the park next to Sam Rodia's towers. Or in Magic Johnson's recreational park in Willowbrook.

(Not at all what you were trying to convey, is it? )

Really? You equate respecting a statue of Obama to respect for the Presidency?

How about his statue in Red Square, it should be right at home there. Or maybe in downtown Detroit where he "saved" the auto industry.

Speaking of which, how about at the "receiving" end of a firing range? Give it a taste of combat!

I guess you didn't respect it under Bush Jr and you sure won't if Romney is elected.

How about somewhere along the coastline in the Gulf of Mexico.
That's where all the tar balls washed up. Hence the nickname: President Tarball.

How about putting one in every 'beer garden' out of respect for his bipartisanship
during the infamous 'beer summit'?

Place one statue in every state where he has tried to copy their dialect to connect with the commoners. "Yall know Imma be talkin whicha?"

Somewhere in the Illinois State Legislature, right next to the one
of Rod Blagoyavich?

Yes, for those who can't connect the quoted post with the response. Sorry for you. Major disconnect.

A_Lexus will need something to do after he's not posting here after Obama loses as he promised;

I'm so sure that President Obama is going to win that I'll make this promise:

If President Obama loses this election, I will cease posting in the political forum. I know you Pubs don't want that."

Where would you like to see it erected?
I already have one in my front yard.
