Sorry, lady. They still arrest drunk republicans for disorderly conduct. It's probably that damned Obama's fault that you're not above the law.

LOL what a joke! Though that's the the right wing mindset, silly things like laws don't apply to them.

She didn't really break a law - drunk in public statutes exist ostensibly to protect someone from harm to themselves or others who is not able to functionally take care of themselves due to intoxication. She was taken to the county jail to become sober and the DA may or may not file charges against her. If they do anything - then she will likely be able to go into a diversion program where no charges will issue in exchange for her attending a handful of AA meetings.

Her problem was mixing alcohol and politics - unfortunately she was probally too far gone to know what she was doing at that point. She should learn not to overimbibe in the future.

She is correct though - the police did not need to be there. There is no good reason why P.F. Changs couldn't have escorted her off the premises - and the fact that some customers felt "threatened" by her is another example of how some people have become entirely incapable of handling issues on their own and instead are dependent on the government to do everything for them.

I bet they were Democrats.

Wow, arresting someone for supporting Romney. It is sad that there are liberals on this forum who support this. Next thing you know young girls will be harrassed by their public educators for supporting Romney. Nevermind, that has already happened.

She's only for Romney while she's drunk - it's a prerequisite for supporting republicans.

I'm sure when she sobers up and regains her senses she'll be an Obama gal again.
