She is unabashedly a Democrat and she does little to hide it.

Why should anyone hide what they are? If you don't like it don't watch.

I don't mind it and I watch CNN. Just stating the obvious.

This is exactly what's 100% wrong with today's viewers. They simply don't understand that NEWS broadcasts are supposed to be NEWS, not OPINION. CNN long ago lost the ability to read news objectively. That's why they're losing viewers.

Soledad angered me w/ her bias long before Obama was even a candidate. I have seen her be downright rude to anyone she disagrees with and I never could understand why CNN allowed such biased reporters on air. Journalists are supposed to be reporting news, facts, incidents, with dispassion and showing all sides and angles - something we rarely see these days.

Tim Russert was the right example of how someone could have personal convictions, but they never spilled over into his pursuit of pure, unbiased journalism.

I agree with you post. However, America gave up long ago on true news broadcast. But politicization of news is still not the worst. The worst problem is that news are an entertainment program first (and that's what most spectators expect). Political interpretation disguised as news comes second.
