Not true, I have many black friends. It's like me saying you don't like whites by your posting history. I'm actually a very liberal moderate that believes in Pro Choice, gay Rights (with a gay son) and legalizing many drugs among many issues. I'm just very disappointed in our current President much like Bill Clinton. Color is not an issue.

The right was shocked when stuffing ballot boxes didn't work. They were furious that what they did in 2000 and 2004 didn't work in 2008. Don't you recall... they would call a state with 2% in for McCain but wouldn't call it for Obama after 50% if he was leading... it was disgusting, but that pretty much sums up the right.

Perhaps you don't remember September 11th when all of America got behind him and then dirty Dick Cheney snuck up behind us and screwed us all.

When Benghazi happened instead of the right getting behind the president they have tried to paint him as a traitor. There is no shame in the Republican party.

You my friend have summed up what I have been saying since a month after the election. I'm 50, so I've seen my share of Presidents come and go. I have never seen a POTUS held to the standards of this one. Socialism, Birth Certificates, Religion. Its been silly.

Exactly. They wants him out of office at all costs. Why?

You mean like Iraq had wmds and a connection to the terrorists. Oh yeah, he was forthright. There has been no evidence that Obama has ever covered anything else up...only wild imaginative speculation from planet Fox.

How can anyone forget the vitriolic hate that was visited upon George W. Bush by the left from his first day in office? It *STILL* hasn't ended and here we are four years after W.'s presidency ended.
The amount of filth thrown at Obama dwarfs that of ANY prior POTUS. If you don't believe that you are either legally or purposely blind to the billboards, emails, road signs, and websites I've seen. Some are too graphic and offensive to be shown here because there may be kids watching. Have you seen the dramatic number of death threats against this POTUS?
Mr. Bush was unfairly exposed to hatred, but you're kidding yourself if you think it's anywhere near what Obama has seen.

There probably have been others as well, but none I can remember in my years of living in the 20th century. Conservative shock turned into hatred almost instantly, but over the past four years, I think much of the white-hot hate I saw in 2008 has cooled down some. It's still around, but not as intense now.

Barack Obama is the Jackie Robinson of American politics. This election is the last dying gasp of the 20th century mind set no matter who wins or loses. By 2012, we will all be witnesses of a great sea change in America, and it won't be long when we will elect a Hispanic, or a woman, or an Asian to the White House. Or another black person.
Bravo. Well thought out great points!
