Despite his false claim in the debate which he was able to get Candy Crowley to cover for him, Obama has YET to say specifically that the attack on our Consulate in Libya was a terrorist attack.........

Obama yet to confirm ‘terrorist’ act in Libya

Tries to avoid stench of consulate attack

Quote:
Despite numerous public events including a speech at the United Nations and two presidential debates, President Obama still hasn’t publicly and plainly acknowledged to Americans that terrorists killed Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans in Libya on Sept. 11.

Others in his administration have said it, belatedly. But in the five weeks since the attack, Mr. Obama has skirted the issue, seemingly determined to avoid talking publicly about the nature of the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.

IIRC President Obama called it a terrorist attack immediately after it happened. I guess you and your RWNJ friends were not paying attention.

Sorry...never happened.

If it did, then link to it and quote it.

Yeah, he did. But you won't change the OP's "mind."

Obama did call Benghazi attack an 'act of terror' - in Colorado | The Cable

Nope.

Sorry.....anyone who reads the transcript KNOWS that he was speaking generally about acts of terror and NEVER called the attack in Libya a terrorist attack.

Furthermore, Candy Crowley now ADMITS she was wrong.

Even FURTHER.....for two weeks AFTER that, people in his administration (Jay Carney, UN Ambassador Rice, and Hillary) all kept blaming it on a protest over a film.

YOU CANNOT DENY THAT THEY DID THAT.

Obama himself blamed it on a film on Letterman and at the UN.

On Sptember 20th, Jay Carney REPEATED the lie and stated the official position of the WH was that the film caused it.

Remarks by the President on the Deaths of U.S. Embassy Staff in Libya | The White House

He spoke specifically about the attack in Libya.

He said that someone had "denigrated the religious beliefs of others" - an obvious reference to the anti-Mohammed video - and then said that nothing justified this violence.

He then mentioned the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, said he mourned with the families of people who were killed on that day, and said that such acts of terror would never shake our nation.

Nice try.

Someone here isn't. He's merely misquoting the president, misunderstanding everything he sees, and calling others names instead of trying to find the truth.

Again, we're used to that from you.

Why. did. Obama's. people, continue. to. say. that. it. was. caused. by. a. film. for. two. weeks. and. contradict. their. President. if. he. said, that?

This video is from the following Sunday after Obama spoke in the Rose Garden. Is UN Ambassador Rice going rouge and contradicting the President?
