Or we could just put those who seem to love abusing the welfare system to work, if they like it so much, I would presume they are willing to work their asses off for it?
I sure as hell am not willing to put in one extra minute of work to help fund our country's dead weight.
Most Americans are not workers, they are slaves. I work 40 hours/week, sometimes I will do a little overtime but this 2 week off a year crap is ridiculous, it is amazing how easily brainwashed and manipulated you little Rush Limbaugh listening fools are!
In most civilized countries, citizens get 4 weeks of vacation per year which is what I am getting right now- I work as a contractor right now and having my 4 week vacation is the least I deserve!
Like in Germany, they get 4 weeks of vacation a year and they are as productive, if not more productive than Americans because they use their time at work more wisely.
Just the time the average American spends at work BS'ing, getting coffee, watercooler conversations, potlucks, all these BS "teamwork" activities. Cut this crap and give us another 2 weeks of vacay!
You've done a great job illustrating the difference between the "making" class versus the "taking" class.
I agree that a couple extra days of vacation in this country might not be a horrible idea, but when so many are unwilling to put down the bag of cheetos and tv remote, peel their lazy, bed-sore asses off the couch, then the productive are left to fill in the blanks.
Brainwashing is what a stint on unemployment or welfare will do. Working hard is what you do when you want to provide for yourself and your family. There is a difference.
And let's all just call it what it is: INFLATION. Inflation is what is pushing people to work more and more hours to maintain a learned standard of living.
Funny thing about the goats and fowl, they like to eat, and they sure make a mess in the barn...those doggone weeds in the garden never take a day off, either.
