Total bull! Obama is committed to crushing Al-Quida as a movement. He hunts 'em out and kills them wherever they are if it is possible. And if it is impossible today, he does not give up the hunt. He is their worst nightmare. Thankfully for us, he'll continue his hunt for another 4 years, and I hope his eventual successor will share his determination.

It was the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) that overthrew Muammar Gaddafi, with Obama's illegal support. The LIFG has been linked directly to Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, and Obama fought on their behalf. So much for being "committed to crushing al Qaeda."

LOL! Yeah, I thought the entire post was a bit over-the-top, too.

Thank god you don't work in our state department.

Have you ever thought about why this came to be in the last 20 or so years when Islam has been around for centuries? Is it possible that we are doing something to provoke it or at least make it worst?
Oh, btw alot of Christians are not any better

Plus, there are the ones that visited the White House.

White House visitor records show that administration officials have hosted numerous White House meetings with a series of U.S.-based Muslim political groups that have close ties to jihadi groups and push to reduce anti-terrorism investigations. The visits were discovered by the Investigative Project on Terrorism, which compared the Obama White House’s visitor records with its database of Islamist advocacy groups

I won't call you stupid or anything of that nature either, but you do keep missing the point. As I already stated, we have marines in places like Belize. Surely the existing budget was enough to cover their airfare from the Caribbean to Libya.
Apparently it was'nt. Do you realize the military budget is different than the State Departments?

And when the smoke settles in Libya the news will come out that the US had been smuggling arms into Syria and falling into the hands of radicals and that information was reported October 2012.

To answer the OP's question; If I were an al Qaida operative I would retire to Abu Dhabi and disappear into the sand. Of course many of them are not this sensible.
