Democrats and Republicans both need to wise up about rape....they've been raping us for 100 years.
I'm beginning to wish that those who banter about the word rape to push their own politics, have the joy of experiencing it themselves.

Considering that not all are currently adopted, who will be adopting this extra 500,000?
so the definition of murder somehow involves what to do with the person if you dont murder them?

you are basically saying that you can murder someone if you cant think of what to do with them if they lived. you are making a point, but one that is totally ridiculous to say to someone that believes abortion is murder.
abortion is basically a form of justifiable homicide. people decide that the baby isnt convenient for them so they want to legally kill it. when its not your decision, its much easier to deny someone that opportunity than if its your life that may get negatively impacted by the birth. you know its wrong, but people are willing to do wrong things if its important enough for them.
i dont really like to argue the exception. people keep bringing up rape, incest, life of mother in this debate; what % of abortions are for those reasons? also, if someone is arguing on that basis, are they saying that if the abortion isnt for that purpose; that it should be illegal?
A fetus is not a baby and an abortion is not a homicide. Your rhetoric might impress your fellow extremists, but it makes you sound like an idiot.
Murder has a very specific legal meaning, in no way is an abortion murder. Save the hyperbole for someone else.
laws change genius. just because something isnt currently illegal, doesnt mean it wont be in the future. anyone with a brain understands that pro-life people are aware of this fact and by calling it murder they are basically saying it should fall under the legal definition of murder.

Vast majority of abortions are done for reasons other than rape, and those pregnancies can be avoided. Europeans seem to have figured out how to avoid getting pregnant. Lets ask them.
