It's funny to watch the right wing goons throw a complete tantrum about the deficit and spending, yet Willard has proposed to send the nation 2 trillion dollars more into the hole to bankroll the military, when they say they don't need it, and the GOP voters don't seem to care in the slightest.
I guess racking up huge deficits and massive spending are A-OK just as long as the GOP is doing it,..

Do the quick count thru history, and you'll find more wars (and bigger ones, with huge loss of American life) have been started with democrats at the helm. Those wars typically came about because the US was unprepared for war. Keeping a strong defense keeps ones adversaries at bay. HISTORY proves this.
I'm sure that all Americans, rich, middle or poor, all want to pay more taxes. After all that's what we all work for right? Not to better ourselves and our families, and provide the best life for them that we can. The PC crap has really gone too far. There are plenty of deserving folks that truly need the safety net.
The left needs to seriously put down the tax kool aid. You know you dont want to give away any more of your earned money than anyone else does. Problem is most of you dont earn it, when you are perfectly capable of doing so. You want it re distributed to you while you lounge on the front porch, filling out your next application for more food stamps or what ever aid du jour is made available to you by the re distributor in chief.
This proposal to better defend the country, is exactly what the fed gov exists for. Common defence of the nation. Not to wizz away 5 trillion on failed businesses and easy money to their cronies so it can be re "donated" on their next election campaign, and their minnions around the country.
Any liberal talking about Romney causing national debt is a hypocrit.

Most folks I know that are voting for Obama are scared of losing medicare and social security. Which is silly, because Obama hasn't put a plan to make them solvent either. But most conservatives I know think Romney will be better on the debt, and the economy. I don't undertand either position really, they hold no basis in reality, either way.
And not a Democrat. Every time there is a Democrat in the White House the GOP goes nuts, doing everything possible to derail their presidency. They seem to feel they have ownership of the office for some reason. Ken Starr and the GOP wasted over $70 million in their crusade to find something on Bill Clinton--$40 million alone on the Lewinski investigation. There is always money to spend when the GOP has its hands on the purse strings. It's only when there is a Democrat in office that they suddenly turn fiscally conservative. Romney would just be a continuation of that tradition.

Bill Clinton went on national TV and lied to the American people when he said. "I didn't have sexuall realtions....", and many on the left defended him to the nth degree unti thenow famous "blue dress" turned up.

ok math genius, you can do simple addition. But, lets look at the bigger picture. Obama has had 4 years as president, and our debt has increased more than any other president ever. What does Obama plan for the next 4 years? more of the same, except... tax the rich! Well, mr. math wizard, is that going to solve our problem? the answer is NO! And, the reason why it won't even help is because our current problem is a SPENDING problem, and not a revenue problem.
Lets say that you (i.e. anyone) meets a bum on the street and he asks for $$ for "food". Do you give it to him? But, what if you find out that the bum spends the money on booze or drugs? Does that change your mind? Obama says yes, we will give you $300/month no questions asked. And, we will tax the evil rich people to pay for it.
This is Obama's economic wisdom.

Obama gives them no viable alternative. The poor (victims) can keep on receiving welfare, and the rich people will continue to be demonized as the greedy unpatriotic citizens, who "should do more".
So, we have millions of people who do nothing but complain, and receive thousands of free handouts.
And, we have the workers: these people are asked to work harder, & longer, and then asked to pay more taxes because millions of unemployed people need it.
