There are many words on both sides that are offensive its just the left can get away with it but the right can't.....has anyone heard of the term "double standard" or "hypocricy"?
I love this thread, you have people complaining about Coulter calling someone else a retard, while they call her a tranny.
As for Coulter calling someone a retard, I have a daughter that is severely autistic, among other things, and has been diagnosed as a mental retard. sure I wish she had used different words, but at the end of my day her comments have no affect on my daughter or I.
Agreed. My daughter has the same diagnosis. I don't like the word, but at the end of the day Ann Culter has 0 impact on my life. What she thinks or feels about disabled people has no impact on me or my child.
The left will deflect about our President using the special Olympics to make fun of his golf game but freak out about culter.
Obama can impact my life, what he thinks can harm my daughter because what he thinks can translate into actions.
No. Just pointing out that using those words in an offensive manner belittles every point you are trying to make, as does pointing out obvious typos. But when there is no other argument, the weak fall to name calling and spelling errors. Bravo.
When a plant is healthy and is in the sun - well watered and taken care of it thrives and goes into full bloom eventually- a plant that is not watered will not develop fully...It's growth is RETARDED> There is nothing wrong with the word retard. It means something that is not developed..
Careful - some people might take that statement as being derogatory to "brown" people.
Which is a perfect example of why it is stupid to label people by the color of their skin.
However - Democrat's love to divide people - so it persists nearly 50 years after Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech.
Oh c'mon now... you know nobody would have taken that as a racial comment (especially since she's a white woman), it was just your opportunity to make yet another false generalization about Democrats. For somebody who supposedly abhors labeling & stereotyping, you sure do spent a LOT of time obsessing over what "libs" and Democrats allegedly all do. Pot, meet kettle!
