OP, thanks for the informative post. I didn't know that the tax reduction for the rich began during the Vietnam War. Interesting. It is a religion on the right and a dark one at that.
The primary concern to me is that the president finally realize that the right cannot be negotiated with and that they must be 'run over'/bypassed. They are toxic to American democracy. It is not clear to me that he has realized that, though I voted for him in the hope that he has.
Basically this thread is a liberal whining that their wealth redistribution is affecting the blue states disproportionately, and this is somehow the fault of the conservatives?
Or is the argument that since the blue states pay more into redistribution, then conservatives should be in favor of it?
