Nothing to see here, move along, citizens.

Not sure which is worse, that they arrested her or that they had to.

What's the problem? You have to abide by the speaking rules so everyone has a chance to speak. We have people around here who actively interrupt council members and fellow citizens when it is their turn to speak. If you don't have rules, it turns to chaos.

Have we learned nothing from the Soviet Union?
Citizens should always follow the instructions of the state.

So this is the America you want to live in, where people are arrested for exercising their rights to free speech? You're ok with her being cuffed and taken to jail for going over her three minutes? I guess they should have tazed the micreant first.

This isn't the America I grew up in. It's a crying shame it's the America you want to live in.

I'm a sheep because I think there should be rules in place to make sure EVERYONE has a chance to speak and be heard? Whatever.

I'm ok with someone being arrested for disrupting a public meeting. She broke the rules. She wasn't arrested for speaking, she was arrested for going over her allotted time. If she created a disturbance, then yes, I am ok with the arrest.

In the America you grew up in, there were no rules at council meetings?

She wasnt exercising her right she was trampling on the rights of others, THAT's why she goes cuffed and escourted out.

Seen plenty of her kind trying to monopolize the podium when others like myself want to speak.

When your time is over Shut the **** up and let others have their say.

Exactly. We have one guy here who screams at council members, calls them names, interrupts others when they speak and generally creates a nuisance at meetings. It's ridiculous and it isn't fair to other residents who have the same right to free speech as the guy who abuses it.
