I'm surprised right wingers don't want Marbury v. Madison overturned, seeing as they always cry about judicial activism and going against the will of the majority.

I understand Jefferson's concerns with judicial review but I can't think of any better method of deciding the constitutionality of laws.

I'd overturn Kelo v. New London and Citizens United.

Citizen's United...the nemesis of the MSM. ABC/NBC/CBS thought they had a lock on the political propaganda machine, and had managed to silence other voices until this decision. It is good that SCOTUS decided in favor of free speach.

Well, one decision of the Supreme Court that was clearly wrong at the time it was made, and continues to be wrong today, is Hans v. Louisiana. Unfortunately I don't anticipate it will ever change.

No, but clearly many people do -- otherwise why would campaigns spend hundreds of millions of dollars on them every election cycle?

Citizens United should probably go, for all the reasons already listed here. Ultimately I don't think the effect will be that great. Other than that, the modern Supreme Courts usually get it right.

I am not an anarchist so I don't want to overturn any decision no matter how much I disagree internally.

It's important to understand that.

As messy as it is folks it's the BEST Governmental system ever devised by man.

I prefer to apply my energy, effort and money to the legislative and executive branches. That is how this government is structured. Don't like it? MOVE to another country or change the system given the constrains provided in the Constitution.
