[quote=geeoro;26728327]During the Nashville Flood, President Obama worked closely with Gov. Phil Bredesen.
President Obama declared a major disaster exists in the State of Tennessee and ordered Federal aid to supplement State and local recovery efforts in the area affected by the April 30 storms.....With grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster.
Tennessee's governor praised the administration's response[/QUOTw
That has always somewhat been the case. But thanks to BO, it is much worse and will not get better until he leaves office. Think all you want, that is the FACT!
WOW.............. So Congress REFUSING to co-operate with anything that President Obama put forward is Obama's fault???????????????
A PACT being formed by Republican's to block everything that our President proposed is Obama's fault?
The "Circus" created by Congress over the debt ceiling was Obama's fault?
Congress having the lowest approval rating ever is Obama's fault?
Republican's decided to try to get President Obama out of office after his first term by complete partisanship is one reason that the economic recoveryis slower than it should be and why we were downgraded by S&P...............Now those are FACTS.
Looking at the response from the overtly partisan comments coming from the Right around the Internet, I think some on the Right are very concerned about Obama's response swaying the election. I don't think it will impact it much, but the fear is very observable from the outside. Heck, some of the most outrageous threads I've ever seen on this site have popped up in the last 24 hours.
What on EARTH does this have to do with the storm???
Motive!
A subconscious motivation scheme by Obama to make it political! He needs the votes! So, he makes his actions to look presidential now in a natural disaster, which he didn't portray in his 1st Presidential debate! He's trying to makeup for lost time and votes! He's desperate and will now do anything to make himself look good in front of the camera just "to look Presidential"!

Why not? Applying the same logic, the Dem Congress opposing Bush must have been Bush's fault. He was not a leader, so they didn't follow. Isn't that the argument here?
Act about 3 days faster than W did after Katrina , a storm so severe the leading hurricane expert at NWS called the White House 3 days before, to remind them this was not a normal hurricane.
This is why I adore Christie, the "no spin zone" governor.
I have to say, I would probably vote for neither of them, but Chris Christie and Scott Brown are becoming two of my favorite non-liberal pols. They're partisan - all politicians are. But they know *when* to be partisan. Big difference between them and the other jug-heads in the GOP. In all fairness, there are jug-headed dems, too.
These are the kinds of Republicans we like to vote for here in Oregon too. These are the people who actually do their job instead of being obstructionists like a majority of the party is these days.
