Obama never stated he wanted to bring back the assault weapons ban. The only thing he stated was that he wants to enforce those on the book.

I realize that you seem to think that telling the same lie over and over will make it the truth...but it ain't working. Obama said, in his own words, at the debate (third on IIRC) that he wants to reinstate the Clinton semi-auto ban. He also lied to the country, claiming automatic weapons were a major problem on our streets. When they have been highly restricted since 1934...and are in fact illegal in many states.
