in fact bloomberg asked obama to stay away from new york for the time being as the disruption caused by having to move first responder assets around puts a heavy burden on them.

My friend down the shore lost his house.

He is a public employee and his wife is a teacher. They might make 75k combined. You obviously have no idea of the economic makeup of the residents of New Jersey.

Atlantic City is not the 1%. Maybe the bottom 1% . If you drive thru it you'd see just how poor the city is. Many homes down in NJ are not mansions even if they're close to beach front.

Apart from the fact that he's not going to NYC because of the disruption it would cause, it is an absolutely riotous concept that there are more 1% ers down the Shore than in Manhattan. Jeeze.

Most of the people down the shore have been living there for generations in small houses and are working class. Amazing how ignorant people can be.
