Yup, and those military aircraft that are airlifting utility trucks from California to the East coast should just stay home and collect rust.

Because only the military has planes?
I'm reminded of an analogy comparing efficiency between the USPS vs. FedEX

Are you suggesting that FedEX has planes set up to airlift trucks, and they'd have crews of people who'd be trained to do that sort of thing? Give me a break!

Big government Louisiana liberals ran the state during Katrina.

Here is what you got with them in charge:

I'm suggesting a government apparatus isn't the only way such things can be accomplished, but it takes an open mind to recognize that

Oh, I have a crazy idea...how about a nation of FREE CITIZENS and INDIVIDUALS who actually know how to TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES and their FAMILIES without MOMMY GUBMINT!

Let me guess. YOU'VE never experienced a massive, destructive hurricane, so you may be clueless about the need for assistance AFTER the storm.

It would be proper to leave "let others think" mentality to authoritarians. So, please try not to think for liberals. Instead, let us call it your belief, or perception, and label it messed up.

As a liberal, I believe that government SHOULD engage to help with recovery efforts. Now you know what a liberal thinks on the subject.

So you've deemed yourself "spokesperson for all liberals".

Congrats!
