We're like you, we hate it, but we have dealt with shortages before.

Liberals, How Do You Like These Gas Shortages? .............
To be honest i couldn't give a damn about what Liberals or Republican's like or dislike about the terrible gas shortages on the East Coast.............. It is the people who are actually suffering from this disaster that concern me.
This political gesturing in the time of disaster is SICKENING.

Yep.

His demonstrably moronic point that President Obama, not Hurricane Sandy, caused the power outages that are keeping gas pumps from running is crystal clear.

His revised demonstrably moronic point (once he realized how demonstrably moronic the original point was), that Obama's EPA regulations are curtailing oil production, was also very clear.

The stupid points he is making are very clear. Idiocy is often very clear.

And demonstrably false.

U.S. close to top oil production slot - Boulder Daily Camera
Quote:
NEW YORK -- U.S. oil output is surging so fast that the United States could soon overtake Saudi Arabia as the world's biggest producer. Driven by high prices and new drilling methods, U.S. production of crude and other liquid hydrocarbons is on track to rise 7 percent this year to an average of 10.9 million barrels per day. This will be the fourth straight year of crude increases and the biggest single-year gain since 1951.
Oil production in US hits highest level in 15 years - CSMonitor.com
Quote:
Oil production in the United States rose last week to levels not seen since January 1997, helping the country to reduce dependence on foreign sources of crude as it continues to implement the drilling and fracking technologies needed to increase daily oil output. Reports from the Energy Department released this week show that overall crude output in the U.S. rose 3.7 percent to 6.5 million barrels per day by the week of September 21, a trend that has continued since the country met 83 percent of its annual energy needs from the beginning of the year through June. Should domestic oil production continue at its current rate, the United States will enjoy 2012 as its most self-sufficient year since 1991.
Enjoy clapping each other on the back and repeating your wrong, nonsensical idiocies to each other!

I wonder if in your little small minded paranoid world do you think Obama is sitting next to a large knife switch with the words "on" "off" that controls his giant weather machine that was made for him by the spirits of saul alinsky and bill ayers? and a wall of switches in a secret panel that controls the electricity for each state where he can single handily shut off all power whenever he likes ?

Sounds like Obama is going to star as the nemesis in the next James Bond movie... Welcome to the wonderful world of right-wing conspiracies.

Droolers think its the role of government to price things for them without regard for supply and demand.

This country just produced the most oil it ever has in it's history. And here you are complaining. And of course Sandy had nothing to do with it right?

I think my head is going to explode.

Doesn't matter if the price of a gallon of gas is $4 or $40 -- if there's no electricity to pump it, ain't no one gettin' none.

Oh you mean the poor people suffering from Superstorm Sandy? If I could, I'd get them here for gas or send them gas. But what's this got to do with the price (or wait for) gas in the majority of the country?
