Looking, but not finding. There are so many that are still not looking. There are so many that are taking part time jobs at McDonalds when they've got a master's degree in... whatever. People don't think about that.

There is a guy I know with a master's in business administration and he's working at a call center making $11/hr after being laid off from his job a couple of years ago. Yes, he's got a job, but I'd certainly consider him underemployed.

Who exactly are these people who stopped looking? They can't be married because it would cause problems and they definitely can't be on their own because they would still need to pay bills.

So who stopped looking for employment?

the people who "stopped looking" are the people who's unemployment ran out.

Why does that mean they stopped looking? They are probably still looking but it's not showing because they no longer receive UC benefits
