There is no real hope from either candidate that our deficit will be reduced.

Obama won't make enough cuts to pensions and entitlement programs.
Romney will increase military spending and make massive cuts to our tax revenue.

The real choice in this election is whether you want your tax dollars spent here in America or Overseas.

Excuse me but you're a bit wrong. The R&R team will cut (entitlement?) programs to fund their proposed budget slashing.
But alot of that depends upon who keeps or loses control of the house and the senate.
No president can cut anything.
Ryan coined the phrase "it will have to be worked out in the congress" because he knows that if he finally releases his budget intentions to the house, they might pass it if the "R" party controls it, and then is sent to the senate. If the senate is controlled by the "D" party, they could refuse it's passage.
Willard would be called, as so many previous presidents have been called, a "lame duck".

So, Ryan is at least smart enough to know that he, nor willard have the power to end (entitlements?)
alone, or by themselves.

I don't even bother caring about the deficit anymore. It's so friggin' high and such an amazing joke that we might as well just keep increasing it at this point since it will never go down.
