Willard will carry my state as well. That's how I got my mother and SIL to vote for Gary Johnson there vote for Obama/Willard wasn't going to matter so why waste it on them...I voted as did my wife because we want to help Johnson get to 5% plus there was 2 other libertarians on the ballot who needed my vote and I hate the sheriff here and I want home gone so voted for his democratic opponent.

Because most of the real power rests with the congress and governors you elect. And the local politicians you elect. And the laws that are decided in elections.

And that's probably the most important reason to vote. If there were a Constitutional amendment passed by Congress and sent to the states, how would your state vote?

All politics is local.
