Today, two days after the election, the democrats have claimed a mandate for sweeping policy changes. As OP, my post is vindicated.

Block, block, block.

I would personally like to see the fiscal cliff reached with no compromise. It will force more responsible government then we've had in fifty years.

He has zero mandate.

All he has done is remained the leader of a deeply divided nation - the cause of the division which is his Democrat Party.

The president talks a good game about "reaching across the aisle" and "working with the opposition" - but when Speaker Boehner and other Republican leaders try to act bipartisanly - Barack Obama wants nothing to do with them.

He isn't interested in compromise - he just wants his way - like a spoiled child.

The only one in the Senate more supported by the TEA Party is Rand Paul.

Hopefully the Republican controlled house will compromise basically none and act as a sort of dam holding back a huge lake of poison. If that means gridlock then so be it. Gridlock can actually be a very good thing, because if nothing passes then we won't have any more laws which we already have far too much of. Unfortunately a lot of laws and regulations end up being written up and enacted by the president's departments and bureaucracies without even going through congress, so we're probably screwed anyways.

Must have been a memo.

Seriously, the only dose of unreality I see is that coming from the Romney supporters who truly believed that everyone hated the president as much as they did. "It's going to be a landslide." Right.

Oh, and I heard about the alleged Iran drone strike from MSNBC. Hello.
Well, good for you. Am I supposed to be impressed? Why didn't we hear about it before the election? Could it be because what we hear is being "selectively edited" (I know that's a favorite phrase in leftist circles ... ).

It was "free stuff" that won the election for Ozero, no matter what the leftist think. He had nothing else going for him, and he is spouting the same lies today as he did in 2008.
