take that water away from california, and californias southern farmlands would be nothing but desert.
Uh; more like from Colorado. The Colorado River feeds Arizona, Nevada and Cali.

Pretty much, outside of the extremes of both parties there are more things that unite us than divide us.

And if we could get an accurate poll, probably 80% of us fall in the middle. I voted for Romney but am Pro-Choice, believe many drugs should be legalized / controlled and have a gay son who I support. Much of the media creates the mass belief that we are all radicals on one side or the other. In reality, we're all rowing or sinking together.

People believe TX is Redneck and ultra conservative. It is far from that and one of the reasons we are accepting of others. One of the largest gay communities is right here in Dallas TX.

The media and politicians thrive on creating chaos.

I would love to set up a Red State country and a separate Blue State country.. I'm fiscally conservative, libertarian on social issues (stay out of my business, but don't take my money for your social problems), and as a veteran, believe in a strong military.

But how long would it be before the takers in the blue states run out of money and knock the wall down to get into the red states? I would give it 4 years.

At no other time in our history has corrupt business been so tied to the hip with corrupt Goverment. This includes the vast military industrial complex and the Federal Reserve. Both have been more then harmful to the well being of our nation.

It is time to end the corruption.
Exactly! Unfortunately it seems the partisan hacks are quite content arguing amongst eachother while corruption runs rampant in all facades of Government and the economy.

Agree with the crony capitalism comment. Term limits are sorely needed in federal office but also state and local office.

Obama wasted more of our tax money giving money to his "green" friends' companies that ultimately went bankrupt.

Is this yet another example of a Liberal reaching across the isle? It is the Liberal way or the highway. Sort of reminds me of the Democratic position on Slavery and Civil Rights. We had to beat Slavery out of them and drag them across the finish line to get civil rights bill passed.
