Next, gay marriage, leave it to the states. Don't rail on about it in Washington, it has no place there. If democrats want to run on that instead of the economy, let them. Let the vote pass in the senate.

Immigration reform is going to have to mean something more then self deportation. Let workers come here legally if they so choose, back that small government method.

People obviously don't want a voucher system on Medicare, and conservatives should quit bashing social security.

But beyond that, truly be small government. Small on defense spending, small on unemployment extensions, etc.
I think it is the left who contantly bring up these issues, abortion and women's rights, gay marriage and a willing press constantly bringing them up,

Unfortunately not enough people really know much about the voucher system proposed. The media has distorted it, as usual and it hasn't gotten a fair chance to be discussed.

That is still a republican problem. Republicans should remain silent on social issues, and paul ryan was supposed to have a conversation about medicare, but just disappeared from the race.

Last I checked abortion was up to the states. The supremes said so.

Gay marriage was pushed by Obama from DC.

That is what THEY pushed not republicans and folks lapped it up. Hey they had nothing else to run on and it worked.

As for medicare the voucher "plan" only made sense but when all that is thrown out about it was lies and how folks would be tossed off a cliff the same folks who were lapping up the gay marriage and abortion nonsense jumped on too. As a matter of fact Obamacare has already implemented a voucher program for poor old people. Nobody cares about them though.

You should still blame republicans for that. They knew what the democrats were going to do, and still did nothing about it. Mitt got crushed in 94 because of his ties to bain capital, knew it was going to come up again, and did nothing about it. You know the democrat playbook and still did nothing to counter it. we've had the same playbook for decades now, pander to women, minorities, young people, use mediscare tactics and paint the republicans as racist and some how republicans still let have no counter for it.

I guess lying comes so easy for democrats. You sound too proud of that "playbook". Pathetic is what it is.

I actually believe republicans want to end medicare, medicaid, and SS and seem to dislike having minorities in their party, and your policies always seem to benefit the wealthy. When I say playbook, I just mean we continue to point out the samething every election and some how republicans seem shocked when those issues cost them the election.

Gay rights, abortion and women issues....those should stay out of government control. Those issues belong to the states. However, republicans took over even more governships last night so what does that say?
Who stated that?

All politicians benifit the wealthy. You are blind if you can't see that. Dislike having minorities? Why? A vote is a vote according to a politician. Nobody wants to end soc security etc. but it has to be FIXED. What is the solution of the democrats? More people are going on soc sec disability then getting jobs anymore. A payroll tax cut is given making things worse for SS. That is not how to fix it that much I guarantee.

Abortion isn't up to the states.

The R's with their dopey rape is god's will-type candidates and going into a woman for ultrasounds are losers.

On ssm, R's have the choice of taking the side of repealing DOMA and offering candidates who support states' rights on the issue, or remaining on the losing side of that issue as well.
