I find this thread depressing. Oh no, it is our lives for the next four years!
Just remember, I didn't do it. Those that voted for Obama did it. We built America; they destroy it.

A little reality please.

Multiple typically blue states lost electoral votes after 2010 census Mass, PA, NY, NJ and typical red states won them AZ, TX, Utah, etc. And still the electoral college was higher for W against John Kerry.

And you completely ignore the fact that Pres. Obama WON the popular vote. So yes, the PEOPLE have spoken.

Think so?

Those red states, that didn't vote for Obama, are the real 47%. They take far more in government dollars than they contribute.

PolitiFact | 'Red State Socialism' graphic says GOP-leaning states get lion's share of federal dollars

So really, many of us, who contribute far more than we take, aka build America, voted for Obama.

Please read up a bit.

Not only did he win the popular vote, unlike Bush, he won by a MAJORITY not just a plurality and by a larger margin than Bush did in either election (or not as in 2000)

President Obama won a larger percentage of the vote than Bill Clinton did in either 1992 or 1996.

The only one to get a larger percentage of the vote than he did in the last 20 years, was him in 2008.

This was not a squeaker by any means.

The election last night was a rejection of corporationism. Not only did Romney lose, but candidates like Tommy Thompson and Linda McMahon losing should send a message. The days of trickle down economics should be finally dead.

I was using the Huffington Post posting from about 5am EST

"As of this writing, Obama had a 58,720,700 (50.1%) to 56,145,950 (48.4%) lead on Mitt Romney for the popular vote."

Who Won The Popular Vote In 2012?

But I thought Obama would win since about two weeks ago so I really did not follow the election last night/this a.m. My info. may be out of date as of this writing.

You were told lies by Obama. Romney was the job creator not the freebee food stamp president that killed jobs to grow government dependency. Obama now owns all that depends of the government. He manipulated many to get in and the younger generation will suffer greatly with huge deficits and a much higher tax burden. Do your homework and take a good look at Greece. That is our future.
