But I predicted that Romney would win the popular vote by 5-6%, and win Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, and possibly Pennsylvania.

I was wrong. I'll devote considerable effort from here on in, to making sure I don't make the same mistake twice.

So, instead of the course of changing our government from an interfering one to a non-interfering one that lets people run their own lives and their own country, we will now see four more years of what it has been for the last four: A govt that believes it can fix things, while ignoring the fact it govt is what broke them in the first place, and keeps overriding the decisions of citizens on how to run their own lives, and uses its coercive power to take from those who earn and give to those who either can't (for whatever reason) or won't.

Many conservatives bought into wishful thinking this time around. George Will, Michael Barone, etc. Michael Medved spent the last few months touting his e-book that detailed why Romney was going to win. Hugh Hewitt was sure that Romney would win fairly easily. As for Dick Morris, I never really took him seriously anyway, but hopefully those who did learned a lesson. Anyway, all these people were all wrong, and Nate Silver and Intrade were right.

Also note one other party that was way off--Gallup tracking poll had Romney up 5 on Monday.

It's an absurd point, because there is unlikely to be an economic event like the one that occurred in September 2008, from which we have spent the last four years recovering.

It was priceless to see Karl Rove challenge Fox's election experts' call of Ohio on-air. The bad blood and finger-pointing begins. The GOP cannot exist in its present form. The tea party nutcases need to be cut loose, or the GOP risks becoming a regional, extremist party.

When Barry Goldwater was defeated, I could hardly leave my room. The country survived. That was when it came to me that everyone in these borders has the same rights and responsibilities as me. God loves them as much as he loves me. They have a right to their own opinion as much as I do. Their opinion is as valid as mine.

I would have preferred another candidate. The Republicans gave me a choice that was unacceptable to my POV. They clearly thought my choice was a nutcase since they hardly let him speak.

We've been through crappy times before. The country will be just fine. People who picked Obama are not stupid and they are not my enemy.

Grow up. You sound like a bunch of babies.
Let's see if you have that same view in 2 or 3 years.

I don't think that is the problem. Just look how expensive Apple stuff is, despite being made in giant factories by armies of cheap Chinese ants. It is the greed of companies and shareholders that makes companies outsource production, not necessity.

I thought you just had to buy them at the store... or NOT buy them at the store, as you wished.

BTW, what's wrong with them?

So, they lost the women.
If you think the democrats aren't the ones getting into your body, think again. Republicans couldn't care less what you do with your bits and pieces as long as we don't have to pay for it.

It's not rocket science. We want you to keep your habits to yourself. You're the one giving government control of your body.

Only really, really, truly stupid women think the government is here to help you.

If you can't control yourself, ask Uncle Sugah to help. It's the dem way. Poor silly, silly women.

I have felt the exact same way since I finally got out from under the bed when Goldwater lost.

It is no different now. Perhaps a little worse then. Most people are not idiots, but they can be manipulated for while.

And you have Chrissy Tingle. "I'm so glad we had that storm." That's what he said.

Hard to believe, but true.

You started out okay and then ended with a paragraph spouting the same lies and gibberish you always do. There are so many mistruths in fallacies in that paragraph that I could right 3 more just in response, but you and so many of your ilk on this forum and in this country are so damn hopeless it's not even worth it.

"Taxes are stealing!!"
"Govt caused the financial collapse!!"

Grow up.
