It won't do anything meaningful. Did you forget the House of Representatives is controlled by the GOP? Did you forget that quite a few vulnerable Senate Democrats are up for re-election in 2014?

Because of that, I can tell you right now that the 2nd Term Obama Agenda has just came to a screeching halt. Vulnerable Democrats won't come anywhere near putting political capital on the line to support the President. Not gonna happen, lest they be voted out of office. This is particularly true in the gun debate. If it weren't true, then Democrats would be proclaiming loudly that gun control legislation will be passed. Indeed, it's exactly the opposite. No Democrat has gone on record proclaiming victory over gun bans, etc. Why? Because 2014 is right around the corner.

The lame duck Presidency has already started. And if Republicans take the Senate? Then Barack Obama might as well take a 2 year vacation. Because the House of Representatives is safe for the next 10 years due to redistricting.

LOL

Sorry for your luck.

Why lay them off when you can simply create a propaganda arm with them?

Where have they been these past four years? We went almost $6 trillion more in debt, the federal reserve has spent about $3 trillion, we have the highest poverty levels in 50 years, low fork force participation, record long unemployment, and we added 16 million new poor onto the food stamp rolls. Or is that their goal, to add another 16 million people onto food stamps and a 75 year high in poverty levels?

I think we'll see more EOs the second term.
He doesn't have to be Mr. Popularity anymore.
Just has to keep the Dems happy for whoever runs in 2016.

Depends on whether the House GOP decide to work for Americans or not.
