Nice try though.

Most companies prepare in advance when they know what's coming.

Companies plan massive layoffs as Obamacare becomes reality

"In March of 2010, medical device maker Medtronic warned that Obamacare taxes could result in a reduction of precisely 1,000 jobs. That plan became reality when the company cut 500 positions over the summer, with another 500 set for the end of 2013."

How do you know?

As I've already pointed out twice in this thread, many of those medical-device companies export to Europe. Europe is in trouble. Do the math.

What's your point? My point is they were recently told of impending layoffs and Obamacare was specifically sited as the cause.

You can both THANK AND BLAME CLOWN OBOZO...because if it wasn't for Obozo's ObamaCare and tax plans these companies would not have layoffs. And this is absolutely nothing!!! Expect hundreds of thousands (probably millions) more layoffs to be announced in the coming weeks and months... I can only hope that the vast majority of layoffs go to the stupid people that voted for clown Obozo.

Hoping you don't lose your house, cars, marriage, savings, children's college education, etc. because you voted for an idiot!!!

So do you deny that your intention -- and the intention of the creators of that list -- was to blame the layoffs specifically on Obama's re-election?

So basically, companies are still hiring even though Obamacare is going to destroy the world. Good to know.

Once again--the reason nobody takes you seriously. Keep calling your Fellow Americans fleas and parasites.

I read that Dana holding company paid their CEO $21 million this year and yet he wants to lay off workers because he may have to pay an additional $4 million towards new taxes and health care? What a loser. Put people on the street to protect your vast fotune and yet republican ssupport clowns like this.

These jobs will go overseas instead:

"Cook Medical put plans for five new U.S. manufacturing facilities on hold and will likely redirect growth overseas. Boston Scientific recently announced a $150 million investment in China over the next five years for new manufacturing facilities and 1,000 employees.

Costs will be offset with layoffs, cutting R&D, and higher prices to their customers, hospitals and provider groups. Hospitals will pass it to insurance providers, who will pass it to us in higher insurance premiums. The Wall Street Journal calls this the "Obamacare trifecta," less innovation, fewer jobs and higher health costs."

hah, I just reread and realized I work for one of the companies listed actually.

The layoffs for said company were announced 3 months ago and anticipated for far longer than that, due to a patent expiration, an entire team was laid off... although most of them are now being shuffled to other divisions.
