There's always positions you can eliminate and keep production going. Not every person works the line.

The schools had huge cutbacks and they are still operating ? That's just one example.

There is also that legislative and regulatory Armageddon that 0bama has created, it is only 51 days away. That alone is enough for smart business owners to prepare for now.

Lame. Schools aren't factories. They increased class size. You can't do that making devices.

Mighty big assumption there. But what if they are not replaced which is more likely ?

And they are laying off people, not filing for bankruptcy.

If these companies are expected to send $2 billion to the treasury in taxes then they have to find that $2 billion somewhere.

Isn't this how capitalism is suppose to work? Strongest of the fittest and whatnot? The way that I look at it, those companies that cannot adopt to change will disappear the way of the dinosaur. A another company that know how to handle changes better will replace them.

Besides the teaparty was all in favor of smaller and efficent government why should'nt it apply to businesses as well?

Does it make a difference if one company pays 1 billion in taxes or four pay 250 million? Why should we rely on a few companies when we can open up hundreds more?

No, they aren't lying. Your point of view is typical of leftists, most of whom have no knowledge of how businesses operate. The taxes are due to go into effect in 2013, so, since we didn't see ACA get overturned, and we can't easily repeal it, they must adjust. They cannot afford it. "Oh, yeah, sure." you say. Proving once again that the left sees business owners as "evil."

Sorry. It's Barack H. Obama and the Democrats that are evil.

You are about to find out what misery you have unleashed on all Americans by your stupidity, and I hope you leftists suffer more than anyone.

Hope you lose your house and job, chump!

Not every school in every state that had budget cuts "increased class size".
Get rid of elective programs that didn't attract many students is one example.
Hire more coach-teachers rather than coaches and teachers
Replace library staff with parent volunteers running the library.
Janitor only comes around once per day to clean and not twice so he can be shared between two schools rather than have a janitor at each school.

There..that's just a few budget cut implementations done in the schools.
Not everyone teaches. Just like with these medical device companies..not everyone works the line producing parts.

And schools are similar to factories done in sequential order and producing a finished product.

No, but you can bet they are burning the midnight oil to try to figure out how to stay alive throught the Obama depression, which is about to hit.

Oh, and thanks, Ohiogirl81 for helping to give Ohio to this damn ignorant Marxist ass hole of a president. If it weren't for the idiots in Trumbull, Geauga, and Cuyahoga county, repleat with leftist numb skulls, Romney would have handily won Ohio. He may have, if you account for the voter fraud the Democrats probably committed.

Hope you suffer too. This should make you happy, till you lose your house and job. Then, we'll all just laugh!

Except factories unlike schools have quality control to assure the product actually functions as designed.
