I read the link...crazy, crazy stuff. The article also says that Michiganders elected another state house rep. who is a reindeer farmer who thinks he is Santa and was described as mentally unbalanced by his brother.
I read several years ago that the high school dropout rate close to 80 pct. And the US taxpayer still owns 26 pct. of GM.
"Banks was convicted eight times for writing bad checks and credit card fraud between 1998 and 2004. "Banks told WWJ Newsradio in September: “I would ask them to look at what I’ve accomplished professionally and academically, since my poor decisions.”
I think this is the third thread on this. I don't blame the OP for not noticing since the other two threads petered out after 3 or 4 replies. I think this doesn't surprise us any more, especially coming out of Detroit. I don't know of any republican state representatives with 8 felony convictions. A place like Detroit or Chicago is the only place where it's even imaginable, and only an overwhelmingly D electorate would do it.
Leave it to Detroit - a little something to bring some levity into the forum
Detroiters Elect Ex-Con Brian Banks As State Rep
DETROIT (WWJ) Among the new group of state lawmakers to emerge from Election Day on Tuesday is Brian Banks, who has been convicted eight times for felonies involving bad checks and credit card fraud........
".....'It’s time to elect a leader, with experience and passion, who will fight for you,' he wrote on his website...."
ROFL. He'll get them money since he has plenty of experience in that field
A shining example of how American society is slowly decaying.
